What We Do

The Salvation Army of Northwest Ohio is dedicated to caring for the poor, restoring broken families, feeding the hungry and educating our youth. We respond to emergencies, shelter the homeless, help hurting children, and renew health to addicts. Wholistic service is the goal - to meet physical, social, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs of families and individuals. We provide innovative, affirmed and successful programs and services to bring hope, strength and success to people throughout Northwest Ohio.

Our programs exist to serve one another as commanded by the Word of God.  We believe in holistic ministry (body, mind and soul) and we believe in the transformation of lives.

Please take a moment to review our programs and services (listed  on the left) to learn more about how The Salvation Army is helping others to create hope for a better tomorrow
