Runners Raise more than $1000 per mile in the Boston Marathon!
The 112th Boston Marathon is complete and The Salvation Army Team proved to be a huge success on the course and in fundraising. So far, they have combined to raise more than $26,000 and that number continues to grow. Nine of the 12 runners finished the race in under 5 hours, with one runner missing that mark by just under 2 minutes!
Of course it is never too early to plan for next year's race. If you would like to find out how you can run to change lives in the 113th Boston Marathon call our Volunteer Coordinator, Carolyn Brunis at 617-542-5420 x182.
