This class will include the basic elements of Ballet while allowing students toexperiment with other dance forms. The objective of this class is to teach students coordination, dance terminology as well as how to count music.

PRE-BALLET (Ages: 7+)                                                          

This class provides students with the basic understanding of classical ballet principals and technique. Ballet is the foundation for all dances and can help imporove other dance techniques such as hip hop, jazz, modern and tap by developing muscles,improving self-esteem, self-expression, focus and grace. This class is perfect for the students to experince the beginnings of a traditional ballet class through barre, across the floor and center combinations

JAZZ/AFRO HIP-HOP (Ages: 7-11)

During the course of 10 week classes, we will explore 3 different techniques. Jazz-focusing on basic jazz technique and alignment. Afro Caribbean- incorporating West African dance, Latin, Haitian folkloric dance will be taught as well. In Hip hop- take a journey learning moves from old school to new school hip hop  

JAZZ/TAP (Ages: 12-17)

This is a fun upbeat dance class, that mixes traditional, and contemporary dance styles together. This class is a combo dance class that teaches Afro-Jazz technique, Hip Hop Dance, and Tap technique. The students will learn a dance from each style of dance to be performed at our winter recital in February. Students will need proper foot attire for this class; jazz shoes, sneakers for hip hop, and tap shoes

LINE DANCING FOR SENIORS (Ages: 55+)                    

Keep active and stay young at heart with Line Dancing .This innovative class combines warm-up stretch, dance moves and a combination of step by step simple choreography for a fun workout!


This beginner course will offer weekly courses on the art of sound engineering using,Pro Tools, and Ableton Live, Objectives for the courses will be centered on building technical expertise in music production technology; developing an understanding in audio production fundamentals and concepts; providing a collaborative hands-on
environment; bringing together individuals interested in promoting the arts in our culture/community and encouraging the exploration of musical abilities/skills

NEW! GUITAR INSTRUCTION (Ages: 10-15)          

The Guitar for Beginners course offers an introduction to the fundamentals of playing the guitar. The course is designed to make learning to play the guitar fun, and challenge you to overcome obstacles you encounter while playing. Classes will focus on understanding the guitar structure, tuning, basic scales and chords, basic harmonic progression, and guitar maintenance. Additionally, at the end of each lesson, students will learn a new classic guitar riff. No lesson books are required, just a desire to learn.
