Talk about a wet and wild experience when you come swimming at The Kroc! Whether you're a competitive athlete or just like to wade, we've got something for everyone! What's in store? Well, we've got two 25yd x 25m lap lanes, a one-of-a-kind leisure pool, an Indoor Water Park complete with a huge water slide and a lazy river. Our Aquatics Department, complete with American Red Cross Certified instructors and coaches are dedicated to providing quality classes and training no matter your age or ability.  The Aqua Aerobics classes are available to all members and day pass holders for strength, cardio, endurance, flexibility and agility.

Drop-In Aqua Aerobics

Drop-in Aqua Aerobics classes are a perfect way to learn a new skill, make friends or improve your fitness. Now offering a variety of activities, just pick up a Class Pass at the Welcome Desk a half hour before the class start time to secure your position in class. Class times are subject to change. Stay updated daily by checking our Calendar!

Monday-Friday:  6:00am-1:00pm ; 4:00pm-8:30pm

Saturday:          11:30am-4:30pm

Sunday:            2:00pm-5:30pm

AQUA AEROBICS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

NEW! FAMILY WATER AEROBICS (Ages 6+)

This water aerobics class is fun for the whole family.

H20 INTENSITY

Intervals, circuits, and athletic movements will intensify your water experience. This total body workout will focus on cardiovascular and strength training exercises in the water.

SENIOR WATER AEROBICS (Ages 55+)

This drop-in low-intensity water aerobics class is appropriate for all fitness levels. This class will help improve balance, joint strength, and arthritis.

SWIMMING LESSONS FOR ALL AGES

PARENT/CHILD (Ages: 6 mos. - 2 yrs.)

This class requires a parent to accompany the child into the water. Parents and toddlers/infants will be lead in songs and games as the children learn basic skills and improve upon their comfort in the water.

PRESCHOOL LESSONS (Ages: 3-5)

This class will continue to develop the swimming readiness skills to prepare the student for the Youth Group (1-5) Level program.

YOUTH LESSONS (Ages: 6-15)

We offer five different levels swim level. Level are broken up by ability, endurance, and stroke technique. Our levels progress from learning the basic fundamentals all the way to pre competition swimming.

ADULT LESSONS (Ages: 16+)

This course offers instruction in basic swimming skills for beginners and intermediates alike. Learn or improve your crawl (freestyle) stroke, elementary backstroke, backstroke, and breaststroke.

SPECIALTY AQUATICS

NEW! JUNIOR GUARD PROGRAM

 

LIFE GUARD TRAINING (AGES 14+)

Learn rescuse techniques, CPR and First Aid.

INTRO TO COMPETITIVE SWIMMING (AGES: 5-18)

A competitive swim training class which focuses on advanced stroke techniques and around team building.

HEALTH SAFETY CLASSES (AGES 16+)

The purpose of this course is to teach candidates the knowledge and skills needed to prevent and respond to any emergency. Participants will learn how to treat any injury no matter how severe.
