A Helping Hand for the Holidays

What We Do

November 24-December 14th
Once again this year we are partnering with Walmart, WBNS, WCOL and
The Columbus Dispatch for A Helping Hand for the Holidays. Toys can be donated in
A Helping Hand for the Holiday Toy Bins at local Walmart Stores.

The Day of Giving Phone-a-Thon will be held on WBNS-10-TV on Wednesday, December 5th.
You can call 614-821-1011 to give a monetary donation donate securely online.

Click on the button below to make a monetary donation.

A one-day toy drive will be sponsored by WCOL and be held on Saturday, December 8th
at the Hilliard Walmart; 5200 West Point Plaza. Come out and see Woody Johnson and
other WCOL talent and donate a toy to a child in need!

All money raised will be used to purchase toys to be distributed through
The Salvation Army's holiday programs for children in need.

Nearly 30 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year through the broadest array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children. 82 cents of every dollar spent is used to support those services in 5,000 communities nationwide.
