The Salvation Army in Greater New York encourages corporations to work in tandem with us—providing hands-on community service. The Salvation Army seeks to engage corporate volunteers in group and individual opportunities, one-time and ongoing opportunities, and on-site or workplace opportunities. Our corporate volunteer program can provide employees with meaningful opportunities that create and enhance camaraderie.
Your corporation can make a difference by sponsoring a holiday party for children in one of our after-school programs or family shelters, help beautify a community center or youth residence, sponsor a family picnic, create food baskets for families in need, teach career exploration workshops, and much more. We will gladly work with you to design a volunteer experience that will have a major impact on those you serve while also keeping sure to stay aligned with your corporate philanthropic mission.
