Audio Video Tech I

Schedule: Part-time -- Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as will be required in performance of duties or as requested to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center.

Position Description: The Kroc Center AV Technician will support the AV Ministry Coordinator with the technical execution of events at The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center. General AV functions include the operation of some or all of multimedia, lighting, digital signage, audio and video equipment. Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements: Must possess previous audio/visual/lighting experience, must be able to function in a fast-paced, frequently changing work environment and balance multiple tasks at once. Computer proficiency required. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of the performing arts and sensitivity to the needs of the artists. Must be able to lift and carry at least 75 pounds. Must be able to move about facility and climb ladders. Must be a team player be able to read, write and communicate clearly. Must possess the ability to provide excellent customer service Must be able to function effectively without supervision. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
