Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club


Mission Statement: To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

The Club is open to children grades K - 12th and our programs are designed specifically for each age group. We offer hope and opportunity while providing a safe place to learn and grow through life-enhancing programs and character development experiences. Young people are engaged in activities with adults, peers and family members that enable them to develop self-esteem and to reach their full potential. Membership in The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club is only $5 per year.  Core program areas are:

  • Sports, Fitness and Recreation

Open Monday - Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

  • Homework help and Tutoring
  • Computer Center
  • Games and Recreation
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Quarter Mile Math
  • Lexia Reader Program

Also, offered on days when there is no school in Fayette County (except federal holidays).

Open Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

  • character development
