The Salvation Army Food Pantry, is open to families and individuals who are residents of Newport County. The Food pantry has been a staple service of The Salvation Army for many years. The food Pantry is one of the most frequented food pantries in Rhode Island. It serves new clients almost every day it is open, in addition to returning clients.
Families choose their own groceries. The amount of non-perishable food each household takes home is determined by family size and is supplemented by additional choices of meat, pastries, bread, and produce. We believe that all adults deserve the dignity of choosing what foods they want for themselves and their families. Customers may “shop” the pantry once in a 30-day period.
Monday 9:00pm to 2:00pm
