These programs and services promote educational enrichment, life skills development, and spiritual and physical wellness. In accordance with the Christian mission of The Salvation Army, these resources are offered without discrimination to uplift individuals and benefit those in need.

Our Location

THE Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center of Ashland is located on East Liberty Street beside Luray Lanes. Groundbreaking for the Kroc Center was held on September 23, 2007 and the dedication of the center was held April 17-19, 2009. The 43,000-square-foot facility is now open to the public. The Center serves as a place of worship for members of the Salvation Army and as a community center intended to serve the greatest number of people experiencing the greatest need.

Other Locations

At this time, five other sites in the Salvation Army’s Eastern US Territory have been approved to move forward with their Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Centers. These five sites chosen within the Eastern US Territory will equip men, women, and children with the tools to reach their full potential. Individuals and families will have a chance to improve their skills, wellness, and lives while pursuing dreams that may have been out of reach before. In this way, Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Centers will uplift struggling communities, one person at a time.
