The Salvation Army Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center of Boston, Massachusetts

Take a Site Tour

The Salvation Army has purchased and cleared a seven-acre parcel of land. Standing on the site, the potential impact on the Uphams-Dudley community comes into clear focus.  If you are interested in more information or a tour of the Kroc Center site and please contact Jack Peters, Jr. by phone at 617-542-5420 x180.

Join a Program Committee

One of the thems of the planning process to date has been "building a community center without walls."  This has taken form in the program committees that are meeting now to shape the opportunities at the center.  The response has been fantastic as representatives from Boston's institutions of higher learning and representatives from the corporate community have joined in the planning process that was already underway with neighborhood residents and the staff and board members of human service agencies working in Uphams-Dudley.  Collaboration will be a hallmark of the center and it has already begun at the planning meetings.  If you would like to join the aquatics, arts, education, birth to 5, special programs, seniors or recreation and fitness program committee, please call Drew Forster, Planning Coordinator at 617-542-5420 x194
