SUMMER CAMP IN THE CITY
June 24, 2013 - August 23, 2013

The Salvation Army Summer Camp’s daily activities include a variety of sports, leadership challenges, educational adventures and field trips for children, ages 5-12 years old. Set in a safe, clean and comfortable facility with well-trained counselors, music instructors, and certified athletic trainers.

Your child will play, laugh, discover, compete, share, build, swim and grow.

THE SALVATION ARMY - OKLAHOMA TORNADOES RESPONSE
(May 21, 2013) The Salvation Army has volunteers from four states on the scene here in Moore, Oklahoma, reaffirming that we are indeed the "United" States.

THE SALVATION ARMY BOSTON EMERGENCY DISASTER TEAM RESPONSE
(BUFFALO, NY, April 16, 2013) - The Salvation Army continues to assist those impacted by the Boston Marathon explosions. Canteens were positioned at various sites throughout the city, including the Unified Command Post, the Family Assistance Center, and Kenmore Square. An additional canteen roved throughout the impacted area supplying food, snacks, and beverages to those in need. As of this morning, 1,729 meals, drinks were supplied to the victims, the families, and first responders. The Salvation Army will remain on site at the Family Assistance Center, located at the Park Plaza Castle, as long as support is needed.

HERKIMER SALVATION ARMY ASSISTS AREA RESIDENTS DURING POLICE STANDOFF (Herkimer, N.Y., March 14, 2013) -- During the tragic shooting and standoff with police in Herkimer, the nearby Salvation Army Community Center opened its doors to the community for their normal Wednesday evening soup kitchen and sheltered evacuees, reported Captain Jon-Erik and Lieutenant Jessica Berkhoudt of the Herkimer Salvation Army.
