The Salvation Army
, along with most nonprofit organizations, needs an outlet in order to reach the public and gain supporters, with the ultimate goal of enhancing our services to those we serve daily. We have come to rely on the support and creativity of special events to help promote our programs and services. Without the ability to reach the community, our organization could not bring awareness of our programs that serve the needy throughout Western New York.

On Tuesday, December 15th, WBEN will be hosting the third annual Warm Hands Warm Hearts holiday collection at The Galleria and Boulevard Malls to benefit The Salvation Army of Buffalo. Donors can drop off new winter items, as well as monetary donations, at either mall location on that day, or throughout the month of December at any ElderWood Senior Care location.

WBEN will be broadcasting live all day during the December 15th collection, and supporters can stop by to meet their favorite radio personnel. Giveaways will be offered to anyone making a donation, compliments of WBEN. Please stop by to show your support of The Salvation Army and it's local mission during the Christmas season.
