The Salvation Army, along with most nonprofit organizations, needs an outlet in order to reach the public and gain supporters, with the ultimate goal of enhancing our services to those we serve daily. We have come to rely on the support and creativity of special events to help promote our programs and services. Without the ability to reach the community, our organization could not bring awareness of our programs that serve the needy throughout Western New York.

On November 16, 2009, The Larkin at Exchange Building, which consists of about 45 tenant companies, presented the results of a month long food drive held to benefit The Salvation Army Buffalo Area Services.
