Our Mission
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
To carry out this mission, The Salvation Army has three Corps Community Centers located throughout Buffalo which serve as worship and service centers. Men, women and children from all walks of life enjoy weekly Sunday worship programs as well as religious studies, social character-building programs, opportunities for community service, family support and leadership skills training.
