Adults
The Senior Action Center is a multi-purpose center for senior citizens
(60 years of age or older) which offers educational, recreational,
social, health and fitness, and spiritual programming designed to
enhance independent living.
This County Senior Center charges membership dues and service fees for
some programs; meals are free, although a donation to the County Office
of Aging is encouraged.
Hours
Monday-Friday - 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Community Meal at 11:30 a.m.
Youth
The Salvation Army Youth Character Building Programs are a holistic
Christian education experience for boys in pre-K through 5th grade and
girls in pre-K through 12th grade.
There are four distinct components of this program:
Moonbeams (boys and girls in pre-K and kindergarten)
Sunbeams (girls in 1st-5th grades)
Adventure Corps (boys in 1st-5th grades)
Girl Guards (girls in 6th-12th grades)
Through these programs, boys and girls will develop positive social and
communication habits, decision making and life skills, and character
and leadership skills through a Biblical worldview.
MONDAY
5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Moonbeams, Sunbeams
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Adventure Corps, Girl Guard
