Welcome to The Salvation Army in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky...
The Salvation Army is active every day in the Greater Cincinnati community, working to help others. Whether it's embracing the homeless, uplifting the abused or abandoned, training and mentoring the disadvantaged, providing character-building programs for youth, or assisting the displaced or elderly, The Salvation Army's goal remains the same: serving the most people, meeting the most needs,...
DOING THE MOST GOOD!
This year, 2010, marks a milestone for The Salvation Army in Greater Cincinnati, as it is the 125th anniversary since Salvationists first arrived in Cincinnati and began to preach and serve the poorest of the poor. Since 1885, The Salvation Army has been serving the families of Greater Cincinnati, and we can only do it with the support of a caring community. We appreciate your interest in our programs, services and events.

Chile Earthquake Relief
Yet again, in response to an earthquake disaster, The Salvation Army has mobilized resources and personnel to assist with relief efforts, this time in Chile. This follows the 8.8 magnitude earthquake that rocked portions of that country on February 27th.
Immediately, Salvation Army personnel jumped into action, providing Emergency Disaster Services to address the most-immediate needs of Chile's earthquake victims. Additionally, financial support is being channeled for the on-going efforts that will be required to help those in Chile to rebuild.
The Salvation Army has had a presence in Chile since 1909. Current facilities include hospitals, schools for impoverished children, and adult rehabilitation facilities.
Some Salvation Army facilities in Chile were damaged by the earthquake, and full assessments are still underway. But despite the damage, The Salvation Army is committed to its presence and mission in Chile, as we have been for more than 100 years, and will work to stand by those most in need of the services, support and programs The Salvation Army offers there day-after-day.
To provide financial assistance to support the relief efforts in Chile, you can:
