HeatShare Energy Fund
One of the specific Emergency Assistance programs offered, on a seasonal basis, is the HeatShare Energy Fund.
HeatShare is a Duke Energy-sponsored program administered by The Salvation Army. Eligibility for HeatShare assistance is determined, in part, by household income. The Salvation Army will take applications for HeatShare from January 21, 2014 through April 30, 2014 or until the available funds are depleted.
HeatShare is available to those Duke Energy customers who reside in Ohio -- Salvation Army Community Centers in Hamilton, Clermont and Butler counties will accept and process applications starting January 21st, 2014.
For additional information or to apply for assistance, please call The Salvation Army HeatShare line at 513-762-5636.
