We're grateful that God has provided us the opportunity to help others.  And when those we serve share their gratitude with us, we are doubly blessed.

Enjoy their stories of help and hope...

I would like to thank the Salvation Army and all their workers for the wonderful work you do. And the wonderful Christmas you provide for so many. I also want to thank you for my wonderful gift I got from you as an adopted senior.A Booth resident

You made a very Merry Christmas for the people at my facility. We are all so grateful I would also like to say when I was a child if it hadn't been for The Salvation Army I would have had a very bare Christmas, and I am 81 years old so you have been doing this for a very long time.

God Bless You!

Today I received many wonderful presents from someone who adopted me for Christmas. I wish I could thank them personally, but perhaps that's not possible.

Please tell them how grateful I am. It's so refreshing to know there are still good people in this world. Their gifts far exceeded my expectations. One gift would have been a blessing, but it feels like God opened hearts to show me once again that there are angels unaware and many times one comes my way.

It's hard for me to have to make the change to being the receiver instead of the giver. And these angels were so generous with giving so many gifts.

My thanks, my love and prayers go out to them. May they have a blessed Christmas with family and friends.

I would like to thank you so much for what you have done for my mother. She is 73 years old and her health has gone down hill, but she always keeps her spirits high.

I know times are hard for everyone so this does mean a lot to her with being on a fixed income. Thank you so much again -- I wish you could see her face as she opens her gifts as she lights up like a little kid. As you touch her life you do mine as well just seeing her that way means the world to me.

Thank you again. Her daughter...

I just wanted to take this time to say "Thank You!" to everyone for your help during this hard time. I had nothing for my kids for Christmas. They needed coats so badly and I am so thankful to have them. All the kids loved their winter clothes. I feel so blessed to have another family help us. And for it to be at the last minute I was stressed, then IToy Shop recipient & 'Grandma Claus' was blessed.

Thank you!

Stacey I.

And from one of Stacey's children:

Thank you so much!  I love my coat a lot -- thanks for helping Mommy & Daddy!

Thank you so very much for all of my wonderful Christmas gifts.  It was such a surprise to receive everything I asked for. I am going into the hospital for surgery in January, and my gift card really came in good time for something I need.

God bless you,

Eula O.

I went through a tough separation from my husband just two months ago and we have really been struggling so you and your family have been a blessing to our family.  Just want to say thanks.

May God bless you!

Merry Christmas. And a prosperous New Year to our generous donors!

This note is to thank you for your generous gift cards for our Chrsitmas.  They will be put to good and proper use.

I am not well and my husband is now with hospice in home. He is suffering from progressive dementia and many physical ailments -- yet has a great appetite. So, therefore, your gift cards will provide plenty of quality food for both of us.

Words cannot express my gratitude.  I just wanted to let you know we have truly been blessed by your gifts.

May there be peace and joy for your futures.

Sincerely,
James & Dena F.
