At the Kroc Center, we've set aside special time

for Seniors only, ages 55 & up!

 

Tuesdays at the Kroc Center
10:00 AM - Enjoy Kroc Facilities
11:00 AM - Group Activities & Lunch
1:00 PM - Classic Movie in the Kroc Cinema

Each week includes fun activities,
unlimited FREE coffee, and FREE lunch!

$5/ month for members
$2/ week for members
$3/ week for non-members
Quarterly FITNESS Memberships: $10
Winter (December-February), Spring (March-May)
Summer (June-August), & Fall (September-November)

10 AM - 11 AM Kroc Activities
Use computers in the Technology Center, get moving in the Fitness Center, or just relax over a cup of coffee with friends. The Choice is up to you!

Tuesdays 10 AM - 10:45 AM Prime Time Piano
Whether you have been in this class before, or this is your first time taking piano, this class is for you. You will learn how to read music, and how to play piano. Those who have already taken the class will progress further. September 3 - November 19 when Prime Time is running (Winter Dates: December 3-February 25).
Cost: $10 members; $15 non-member

Healthy Seniors Program
The goal of “Healthy Seniors” is to promote physical fitness and active lifestyles. Runs all year long. Seniors will commit to being active for 30-minutes a day for at least 3 days each week. After completing one quarter, the seniors will officially be a part of the “Healthy Seniors” club.

11 AM - 1 PM Friends, Fellowship, & Food
Enjoy a new activity each week, including games, discussion, trips, & more. Then enjoy a FREE lunch in the Banquet Center!

1 PM - 3 PM Classic Movie
Relax & enjoy your favorites! Movie classics return to the big
screen in the Kroc Cinema!

Special Programs

Fitness & Recreation

Yoga for Primetime Members
The very basics, no sun salutations or human pretzel poses! You can practice seated poses in a chair or on a thick padded mat. We’ll do a lot of breath exercises, go through a full range of motion, and practice both visualization and meditation. Tuesdays 10:00 to 10:50 AM.
Prime Time Healthy Seniors Program
The “Healthy Seniors” program is designed with senior citizens, ages 60+, in mind who wish to participate in programs offered by the Fitness Center and Dance Studio. The goal of “Prime Time Healthy Seniors” is to promote physical fitness amongst the geriatric population. At the beginning of each quarter, seniors will commit to being active for 30-minutes a day for at least 3 days each week. After completing one quarter, the seniors will officially be a part of the “Healthy Seniors” club. Each additional quarter that they meet their goal, they will receive incentives and rewards. Runs all year long.
Prime Time Walk the Kroc Club
This Walking Club offers incentive for walking designated distances. Walkers will be responsible for logging their own miles on the tracking sheet provided. They must also inform the Fitness Coaches when their established goals are accomplished. Miles can be on Cardio Machines, or walking on any of our outdoor tracks, or in the gym. Runs all year long.
Prime Time Olympic Games Open Gym
Ever want to compete in the Senior Olympic Games? Now is your chance to come and practice your skills in various events. Mondays 9:00 to 11:00 AM: Basketball 3 on 3, Free Throws, and Volleyball. Wednesday 9:00 to 11:00 AM: Corn Hole, Checkers, and Kan Jam. Fridays 9:00 to 11:00 AM: Badminton and Shuffleboard. Monday through Friday: Road Race and Race Walk the gym will be open to walking for the 5k, 10k, 1500 meter, or the 5000 meters.

Education & Technology

Surfing Seniors
A time just for our senior citizens! Learn how to create your own cards, slide shows, and manage your technical devices or enjoy some bowling with friends on XBOX Kinect Tuesdays at 10:00 AM when Prime Time is running.
