Adult Education Services

The Salvation Army provides literacy services to learners 16 years of age and older who are not enrolled in a K-12 school. It offers access to quality educational opportunities to support employment, job training and higher education aspirations. By assisting adult learners to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for effective participation in society, The Salvation Army strives to help all who need it.

GED Program is available for those wishing to obtain their high school equivalency.

The Cleveland Board of Education operates the GED (high school equivalency) program.  This program serves individuals who desire to achieve and are working toward their GED certificate. The program is led by a certified teacher.
