Drug & Alcohol Recovery

Are Your Struggling with Substance Abuse? For over 100 years The Salvation Army has been providing assistance to people with a variety of social and spiritual afflictions. Persons who have sought our ministry, nurture, and healing have come with issues of substance misuse, legal problems, relational conflicts, homelessness, unemployment, and most importantly, a need for spiritual awakening and restoration.

Drug & Alcohol Recovery Addiction Services – Approximately 75% of clients move on to the next level of care.  The national average is 50%.

The Salvation Army offers 2 locations for
Drug & Alcohol Recovery Addiction Services:  Cleveland's Harbor Light and the Adult Rehabilitation Center.

Cleveland's Harbor Light detoxification and intensive outpatient program offer exceptional clinical care at a fraction of the cost of hospital or clinic treatment.  Both programs are certified by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.  Over 1,500 individuals are assisted each year.  HIV/AIDS Early Intervention/Education is an integral component of this program. Upon receiving medically supervised detoxification services, approximately 75% of the clients move on to the next level of care.

Cleveland Adult Rehabilitation Center.
Anyone with a sincere desire for rehabilitation is welcome. The Salvation Army’s (3) three Adult Rehabilitation Centers (ARC) in Northeast Ohio provide spiritual, social and emotional assistance for men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves.
