Allentown Youth Summer Program in Full Swing!

In partnership with the City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation, we are able to provide a summer program for 70 children.  These children participate in daily crafts, excersices and games as well as go swimming,bowling and continue to practice for the city's 101st Romper Day!  For more information, please visit our facebook page.

Work Release Inmates attend Sunday services in Bethlehem!

In partnership with the local county prison, up to 20 inmates on work release are able to attend our Sunday Worship.  Each week we have nearly 20 inmates along with their friends and family who join us from 10:00am to 1:00pm.  It has been a wonderful experience for everyone invloved!

A Day in Harrisburg

On Tuesday, May 6, Salvation Army officers from Allentown to York convened in Harrisburg to share with legislators the work The Salvation Army is doing to better the lives of thousands of Pennsylvanians every day. Dozens of Salvation Army representatives participated in morning sessions with their local elected officials to discuss the need in their communities and the important services The Salvation Army provides such as food assistance, emergency shelter, social services, senior citizen and youth programming, emergency disaster services, and more. During the past year, The Salvation Army provided more than 2 million meals to Pennsylvanians in need, and served more than 1.9 million people through its local community programs.

The Salvation Army Responds to Oklahoma Tornadoes

Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services teams are responding to the deadly tornadoes in the Mid-West. Teams are currently organizing disaster response units to serve hard-hit areas in Central Oklahoma, including Moore and South Oklahoma City.
