We want to make sure everyone feels the special magic that is the Christmas season.

That's why The Salvation Army provides thousands of children and individuals with Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, winter coats, clothing, toys and gifts.

In addition, many clients receive financial assistance to help them meet basic needs, such as vouchers for utilities, rent, and grocery store/food pantry items.

Through our Adopt A Family, Dress A Live Doll, and Coats For Kids programs, generous people like you are able to actively participate and make someone's Holiday better. Each Holiday season, thousands of people throughout the state donate gift and clothing items that we then are able to share with children and families in need.

Our commitment to helping others isn't seasonal. We know "Needs Know No Season". That's why we welcome clients to continue receiving assistance and participate in our service programs throughout the year, not just during the Holiday season.

We also want to touch those who may be feeling alone during the Holidays. Our volunteers visit hospital patients and nursing home residents to bring them some Christmas cheer, gifts, and fellowship. We make sure to visit with families who have members incarcerated in correctional facilities so they too know how much God loves them.

Through all of our efforts, The Salvation Army endeavors to bring spiritual light and love to those it serves at Christmas so that the real meaning of the season is remembered.
