Worship Schedule and Programs

In keeping with William and Catherine Booth's primary goal, The Salvation Army of Licking County is actively preaching and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ through its many Christian fellowship programs.

From Sunday worship services, to men's, women's and children's fellowship programs, rebuilding lives on the foundation of Jesus Christ is where true change and success of those who rely on The Salvation Army occurs.

Morning Worship

Sunday mornings at 11:15 A.M., we invite you to come attend our Morning Worship. We would love you to come and worship with us.

Our chapel is located at 250 E. Main St. in Newark. Please join us for worship.

Prayer and Bible Study

Bible Study is held on Tuesday nights at 7:30. Come join our group to discuss issues of the day and how God helps us through the tough times.

Also included is our prayer meeting where we discuss prayers for ourselves or individuals and then join in group prayer for the requests. Child-care is provided so come down and join us so you can feel spiritually lifted.

To have your name added to our prayer list please call (740) 345-8120 or email us your Prayer Request.

Sunday School

Sundays at 10:00 A.M. at The Salvation Army there is a Sunday School program where families can worship together. Classic Christian songs with motions and a short devotional give everyone the needed spark to begin their day.

Following Sunday School opening is Sunday School Classes where each age group separates to learn about Jesus on their own level. Sunday School is a great way to learn about the Bible and about God's love for us.
