New London, CT (November 18, 2008) - The Salvation Army of the New London area is holding a food drive to help families in need this holiday season. You can help by bringing frozen turkeys and non-perishable food items to The Salvation Army building at 11 Governor Winthrop Blvd. in New London, next to the Radisson, between 10 am and 10 pm, from now until December 23rd.
The Salvation Army will be assisting more than 750 families during this season and will continue to help those in need throughout the year. The Salvation Army is able to serve the community through your support.
