Groundhog BreakfastThe Nashua, New Hampshire Salvation Army is preparing for their 12th Annual Groundhog Breakfast, coming up on Thursday, February 2, 2012. It is being held at The Crowne Plaza in Nashua from 6:45am to 8:30am. This year's event is extra special, as it will highlight the 50th anniversary of the Nashua Telegraph's Santa Fund.

The Groundhog Breakfast is a fun, lighthearted event focused on New England weather and wit. It will feature New Hampshire Governor John Lynch as the guest of honor, as well as Nashua Mayor Donnalee Lozeau and other speakers and local celebrities.

The Groundhog Breakfast is also a time when The Salvation Army of Nashua presents their annual awards. Community awards will be presented to Fidelity Investments and Dell Inc. A Bellringer of the Year and an Advisory Board Member of the Year will also be named. Terrence Williams, publisher of the Nashua Telegraph, will be presented with the most prestigious Citizen of
the Year Award.
