Recently, The Salvation Army Women's auxiliary held their annual Fabric Fair at the Portland Elks Club.  Carol Malia, Women's Auxiliary President states, "for fourteen years this event has been on
a steady climb. The word has gotten out and hundreds of folks from all over the state and away come each year to find great deals on yarn,
fabric, notions, etc".

This year's event was a success in regards to hundreds in attendance and funds raised.

We are pleased to report that $8900.00 was raised at the fair.  All proceeds will be used to help families in need in the Greater Portland area.

The Women's Auxiliary is a group of ladies who volunteer their time and talents to help promote and raise funds to support the programs and services The Salvation Army offers to the community.
