The Salvation Army can help.

Times are tough.  If you are facing a ulitiy shut off, The Salvation Army may be able to help you with Utility Assistance. If you are seeking help with your gas, electric or water, we take appointments every Monday by Telephone Only. The phones open at 8:30 am, and we continue to take appointments until all time slots are full.  The Utility Appointment telephone number is 419-241-2294. 

You will need the following items to receive assistance with TOLEDO EDISON:

1. Photo ID for all adults in the household.
2. Proof all ALL household income.
3. Your current electric bill.
4. You may be asked to use the services at:
             EOPA, 524 Hamilton Street
5. A co-payment may be required.

You will need the following items to receive assistance with COLUMBIA GAS:

1. Photo ID for all adults in the household.
2. Proof all ALL household income.
3. Your current gas bill.
4. You may be asked to use the services at:
             EOPA, 524 Hamilton Street
5. A co-payment may be required.

You will need the following items to receive assistance with WATER.

1. The bill MUST be in head of household's name.
2. Photo ID for all adults in the household.
3. Proof of ALL household income.
4. Your current water will.
5. You must bring in the "Deposit/Turn Off Verification" form from Department of Public Utilities.
