Welcome to The Salvation Army of York
Volunteers pack food boxes at Salvation Army for families in need
Several dozen volunteers gathered Wednesday morning to pack 2,000 food boxes to be distributed to families in time for Christmas.
The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program provides new toys for children of needy families through the support of donors. Found in local companies, malls and stores, Angel Trees are decorated with numbered paper angel tags with the first name, age and gender of a child. Contributors remove one or more tags from the tree and purchase appropriate gifts for the child or children described on the tags. Contact us if you want to sponsor an Angel Tree anywhere in York County or if yours is a family in need.
