The Salvation Army is blessed to
receive support of all kinds; financial, volunteers, advocates, and
collaboration. When all of those qualities are put together under one
relationship, a successful partnership is created. The Salvation Army of
Greater Philadelphia's relationship with Wells Fargo Bank is the epitome of a
partnership. As a founding member of The Salvation Army
Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center of Philadelphia, Wells Fargo's
commitment to The Salvation Army goes beyond their financial support.
Recently, The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia honored Vince Liuzzi, regional president of Wells Fargo,
with The Salvation Army Doing the Most Good Community Leadership Award. This
recognition is a reinforcement of the commitment Wells Fargo has made to
enhancing the quality of life for all Philadelphians, and ensuring that
Philadelphia is a strong, vibrant place to live, work, and grow.
Wells Fargo takes their commitment to the stability and success of
Philadelphia and its residents even further. In addition to naming the Wells
Fargo Foundation Community Conference and Training Center at The Salvation Army
Kroc Center, they have also made the commitment to educating and working with
community center members to achieve financial security. Through a series of
seminars entitled "Hands on Banking", Wells Fargo employees teach parents and
children of all ages best practices when it comes to budgeting and managing
their finances.
The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia is honored to call Vince Liuzzi
and Wells Fargo partners.
