Volunteers from SERVPRO and UPS recently prepared and shipped toy collection boxes to the many partners participating in Salvation Army Christmas toy drives.
This Christmas The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia plans to deliver toys and holiday stockings to more than 30,000 children.
In addition more than 150 local families will be adopted by caring individuals, families, companies, and organizations who in turn will provide their "wish list" items for the holidays.
The toys drives are a part of The Salvation Army Doing the Most Good Christmas campaign. This year The Salvation Army hopes to raise more than $3.25 million locally during the campaign, and plans to provide assistance, including meals, clothing, and toys to more than 40,000 individuals.
