Bucks County Artists Creates Mosaic for Katrina Victims

Released 30 January 2009

To: My friends at the Hancock County Food Pantry in Bay St. Louis, MS

From: Pamela Zwerger, Spiritsong Stained Glass and Mosaics, Bucks County, PA

Hello and a great day to all of you!

I'm so proud to be a part of this great addition to your lives!

I remember when Katrina made landfall. I watched the news up here 24/7. I was worried about all of you. The next day it seemed like a bad dream -- with help coming much too late.

Though I was not physically there, I was there, in my heart. I cried and felt your pain. I donated what little cash I had to a major charity via telephone.

I wish I could be there today for the dedication of the new Hancock County Food Pantry. I could not afford to fly down and stay...but I am there in spirit.

Please see my photo taken in my kitchen above the fireplace.

Please let the color and light of my artwork cheer you every time you enter your new food pantry, and look at how an event so devastating can be a catalyst
for great humanity and transformation.

I send my mosaic with great Love and Light for all who gaze upon it!

Blessings to you all!

Pamela
