FCC is a six-week curriculum (easily doable in transient homeless shelter sites) with suggested three weeks of workshops to follow based on topics selected by parent participants.
- Those trained receive a training manual with all materials needed to facilitate trainings
- Follow-up technical support is included
- Purposed to help break the cycle of abuse & neglect: The program uses the Adult Adolescent Parenting Inventory (AAPI) pre and post-test to measure the five top parental attitudes most likely to lead to abuse and neglect. To date, results have been promising.
