Across the territory, community leaders work with The Salvation Army to enhance local mission effectiveness through Advisory Organizations. While the composition and activities of each Advisory Board may vary in keeping with the needs of each location, they all share the same function: to provide practical support and guidance in furtherance of The Salvation Army.
Advisory Organizations work to assist The Salvation Army at many levels. From direct support of local corps and commands through farther-reaching applications such as the National Advisory Board, there is a true Army of professionals, intellects and leaders standing behind the Christian mission and works of The Salvation Army at all levels of operation.
