The Salvation Army of Sidney, which is a Christian non-profit organization, has helped change the lives of so many since it opened its doors in Sidney in 1903 by advocating for the elderly, caring for the homeless, encouraging troubled youth, feeding hungry families, providing disaster relief, assisting the disabled and much more.
As "a family of services," we strive to provide for the people of Sidney in a way that gives them a hand up, not a hand out. We are, however, facing the reality of funding shortages and may need to cut some of our life-changing programs.
