IT WAS MAJOR JACKSON IN THE DINING
ROOM
(OR WAS IT THE CHAPEL?) WITH THE BELL
as another mystery
at The Salvation Army's
Camp CONNRI is solved!
ASHFORD - When the Manchester Prime Timers
entered The Salvation Army's CONNRI Lodge and Conference Center, they found
themselves unexpectedly in the midst of a crime scene, just like a repeat
episode of Law & Order. It was the first clue to the 2012 Senior Camp's
Theme --- "MYSTERY!"
As questions swirled, the guests got settled in, with homemade pastries and
hot beverages served in special mystery mugs before the clue-hunting began.
Contestants then dressed as CLUE characters, adorned
with plum hats, mustard scarves, green ties, scarlet boas, white veils, and
peacock glasses, the standard mystery-solving attire. Mystery games were then
tested and
performance critiqued in the chapel, beneath the watchful eyes of famous
detectives like Sherlock Holmes, Inspector Clouseau, Columbo, and the infamous
Captain Collette. At the end of the morning's program, the "contestants" got to
vote for their favorite games. The top finishers in the championship play-offs
included: Missing Pieces, Pin the Pipe, Mystery Match, and Detective Snoop.
Everyone played, everyone laughed, and most importantly... everyone was a
winner, case closed! More surprises awaited...
