We're in the business of Changing Lives!

Service to those in need, regardless of race, creed, color, sex or age is a fundamental aspect of The Salvation Army faith. Our social service programs are acts of love inspired by God's love for all humanity and God's comfort to those who are suffering.

The Salvation Army is dedicated to caring for the poor, feeding the hungry and educating our youth. We respond to emergencies, shelter the homeless, reunite families, and renew health to addicts. What makes us unique is how we do it. Wholistic service is the goal - to meet physical, social, psychological, emotional and spiritual needs of families and individuals.

The Salvation Army has designed a range of comprehensive social ministries almost as broad as human need. We also partner with churches, charities and organizations to reach as many people as is practical, believing that even a touch or presence can kindle hope for a better tomorrow.

In 2002 alone, over 36,000,000 people were assisted by The Salvation Army in the United States. And because "need knows no season," The Salvation Army continues to work year-round to help families in need.
