You are in: Youth
The Williamsport Salvation Army has Youth activities for every age group. We believe that if we take care of the youth in our community, they will grow into great, productive citizens and leaders in our community.
Some of our activities are:
Teen Youth Group - A group for teens to be with other young people their age and with similar experiences. This group goes on outings, has dances, hangs out, and has a great time together. They just got back from an annual regional youth weekend in the Pocono Mountains and are getting ready to go to Virginia for the national Acquire The Fire stadium event. This summer they will visit the Pittsburgh Zoo, see the Phillies and Crosscutters, go backpacking, canoing and go to Teen Camp at our camp in the Pocono Mountains.
Corps Cadets (Teen Bible Study/Scholarship program) - This is a once a week (school year) fun and contemporary Bible Study for teenagers. They enroll for a five year program of study and at the end of five years can earn money for college.
